Halloween is on October 31st. This day is celebrated in some parts of Britain. There the children dress up as witches or ghosts. They carry lanterns made out of turnips or pumpkins and play ducking for apples.
In the USA it is common to dress up and play
"trick or treat" at Halloween. Children go from house to house and
ask their neighbors for little presents such as candies. If
the neighbors do not give them "treats", the children play a
trick to them.
