MY FAVOURITE SINGER

My favourite singer is Bruno Mars. 
I really like his songs. For example “Talking to the moon”, “Grenade”, “The lazy song”, “Just the way you are”, “Uptown funk” and so on. I really like the lyrics and the melody in his songs.

Bruno Mars is one of six children and comes from a musical family, they taught him many musical styles like reggae, rock, hip hop and R & B. Bruno Mars really learned a lot from his big family. He began making music at a young age.

He began his career as a music producer and produced songs, including for Flo Rida, Alexandra Burke, Travie McCoy, Adam Levine, Brandy, Cobra Starship, B.o.B., Sean Kingston and the Sugababes.
His first successful single was called “Nothin 'on You”, in which he was guest musician at BoB .It became his first number one hit in the U.S. and number one in the UK and the Netherlands.
In May 2010 he released his debut album. Then the album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. Mars was nominated for seven Grammys.  He wrote “Travie McCoy's Billionaire” song. The song reached number four in the U.S. charts and number three in the UK charts. For him it was the second number-one hit in the Netherlands. He also wrote many other songs.

Bruno Mars has sold 6 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide.
